KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (ABNS 11/4/24)—Exciting news! Registration is officially open for the 2025 American Baptist Churches USA Biennial Mission Summit, taking place from July 3 to July 6, 2025! Our theme is Come Seek Living Water. This is our chance to be part of an unforgettable family reunion experience filled with worship, fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities. The Biennial Mission Summit Planning Team has planned inspiring sessions, engaging activities, and community celebrations.
Join us at the CHI Health Center Convention Center in Omaha, Nebraska, as we kick off the Biennial Mission Summit on Thursday afternoon, July 3, with a warm welcome and the grand opening of our vibrant Exhibit Hall. This year’s lineup is packed with sessions designed to engage and uplift, providing a unique opportunity to connect with fellow attendees and explore new ideas.
“Our times of worship throughout the Biennial event will be filled with the Word of God, music, prayer, and shared testimonies, reminding us of the powerful connections that unite us as American Baptists. The Biennial will provide space for renewal, connection, and reflection on the movement of God, both individually and collectively. I pray that all American Baptists will Come Seek Living Water!” said Rev. Dr. Gina Jacobs-Strain, general secretary of American Baptist Churches USA.
We are thrilled to announce an incredible lineup of worship speakers who will lead us in deepening our faith and connection throughout the Biennial Mission Summit. Keynote speakers will include: Rev. Dr. Gina Jacobs-Strain, who began serving as general secretary of American Baptist Churches USA in early 2024; Rev. Dr. TaNikka Sheppard, executive minister of the Cleveland Baptist Association and general secretary of the North American Baptist Fellowship; Rev. Dr. Greg Mamula, executive minister of the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska; and Rev. Dr. Zau Sam Lahtaw, senior pastor of the First Kachin Baptist Church of America in Omaha.
Don’t miss our special celebration this year: on Friday, July 4, we’ll gather for an uplifting afternoon worship service, followed by a family picnic! Tickets for the picnic are limited, so be sure to grab yours early to secure your spot at this festive gathering.
As the sun sets on July 4, immerse yourself in the beauty of community as we witness the spectacular Omaha Fireworks display, just a short walk from the CHI Health Center Convention Center. It’s the perfect way to celebrate our time together.
