NEW VIDEO: From Headhunters to Evangelists: American Baptists Bring Christianity to NE India

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 9/8/11)—The 8-minute documentary-style video, From Headhunters to Evangelists, presents a concise history of the birth and rise of Christianity in NE India.  American Baptists arrived in this remote area of India in 1836 and partnered with neighboring Assamese Baptists.  This vital partnership between missionaries and nationals fueled a legendary evangelistic movement that is still growing today.  Your gifts to the World Mission Offering are crucial to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in NE India and around the world.

We invite you to download this video from the IM website and use it in a worship service, a Sunday school class or with your youth group to promote the World Mission Offering. If you’d like to learn about videos about other partnerships or IM missionaries, call Ron Schlosser weekday mornings at 800-222-3872, ext. 2178.

Have you received and explored your World Mission Offering materials that arrived in your church in July? These are all-new educational and worship resources focusing on global mission.

Check it out… your WMO materials include 9 bulletin inserts! Use a new one each week in your bulletins or newsletter. Printed in Spanish and English, each insert reflects a different missionary or global partner and different parts of the world.

WMO resources are available online for free download at www.worldmissionoffering.org.  To order printed materials or DVDs, call 1-800-4JUDSON.
