VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 2/28/11)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) has launched Facebook and Twitter pages.

The Facebook page features posts that frequently link to stories, podcasts and other resources on the ABHMS Web site at www.abhms.org. Also included are ABHMS photo albums and videos. Facebook users are encouraged to use the page to ask questions, share ideas and dialog with each other and ABHMS staff about American Baptist-related issues as well as local church life and leadership.

Likewise, the Twitter account allows Twitter users to follow ABHMS’ posts, many of which link to stories, podcasts and other resources on the ABHMS Web site.

American Baptists are encouraged to visit the ABHMS Facebook page, click the “like” button to become a fan, and to indicate, via post, the type of information they’d like to see on the page.

Look for ABHMS on Facebook at American Baptist Home Mission Societies and on Twitter at abHomeMission.
