VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 5/17/16)—American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) Executive Director Dr. Jeffrey Haggray will be the closing speaker at the 2016 Asian Conference and Alliance of Asian American Baptist Churches (AAABC) Convocation to be held June 21-24 at First Baptist Church, Haddonfield, N.J.
Featuring the theme “Let Young Eagles Fly: Next Generation Leadership” (Isaiah 40:31), the event is intended for youth, young adults, millennials (aged 19-34), pastors, lay leaders, seminarians, multiethnic groups, ecumenical communities, and individuals with an interest in intercultural ministries and next generation leadership.
Costs, including meals, are as follows: $60, full time; $30, part time; $25, youth (aged 11-15) and seminarians who attend the conference part or full time; and $15, day attendee. Group rates and scholarships are available.
The conference is sponsored by AAABC, ABHMS and American Baptist Churches of New Jersey. The church is at 124 Kings Highway East.
