God, Psychologists, Therapists, Spiritual Directors, Elders emphasize the importance of self-care to sustain wellbeing.  As leaders in ministry, making time for YOU impacts how, what, when and why you serve. Leaders face joys and challenges as they try to honor and sustain the gift of self-care.

This presentation will re-introduce you to what you value as you hear the terms “wellbeing/self-care/soul-care” juxtaposed with Dr. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. What does God have to say on this topic?  What happens when you make time for self with intentionality, and honesty? Why is it crucial to prioritize your emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing as ministry leaders?

You are invited to consider the gifts you receive when you make self-care a priority in your leadership walk. In group discussion, you will be invited to answer a few questions that will enable you to contemplate initiating a few healthy options available at your fingertips. We honor God’s gift of breath together.
