ABCOPAD Now Accepting Applications for Regional Executive Pastor

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 10/25/23)—The American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware (ABCOPAD) has announced that applications are now invited for the region’s next Regional Executive Pastor. The deadline for applications is November 20, 2023.

The position announcement is included below:

Qualified candidates will passionately articulate the vision and further the mission of the region by planning strategically, implementing innovative ideas, and creating a structure to support this endeavor.

The Regional Executive Pastor will build relationships across the region with pastors and churches by working in a collaborative environment and communicating regularly with constituents.  It is important that this candidate has a passion to develop future leaders.

The Regional Executive Pastor will represent the region nationally and inform the region of news and information regarding the national organization.

We are seeking the person with the God-given call, experience, and skills to carry out these responsibilities in a manner that will glorify God and advance His kingdom.

Qualifications

  1. A deep and growing personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and a God-given calling to this ministry.
  2. ABC recognized ordination.
  3. A Master of Divinity or other theological master’s degree. A Doctor of Divinity is a plus.
  4. Experience as a pastor in a local church and other leadership experience in regional or national ABC affiliations.
