The American Baptist Churches USA Office of the General Secretary webinar, “Stewardship and Pandemic,” is now available to view by clicking here.
Part of The Generosity Project, an Office of the General Secretary initiative which examines the challenge of stewardship in the 21st century and looks at learning how to re-frame the conversation around stewardship, “Stewardship and Pandemic” explores the dynamics of mission and ministry, and the stewardship that undergirds it, in uncharted territory.
Webinar attendees are invited to reflect on key questions inspired by the living of these days in the midst of a global pandemic:
- What is the “meaningful work” we are discovering in this time of pandemic? What is being asked of us as people of faith during this rupture in history?
- What innovative mission and ministry are being inspired by events happening in our country?
- What do we need to leave behind in order to navigate the portal to a more vital, vibrant future in our churches, communities, and country?
- How can we nurture the imagination of our congregations, pastors, and church leaders to create this new future?
