VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 8/15/12)—The 2012 Ministers Council Senate meeting, held at the Green Lake Conference Center, Green Lake, WI, was called to order on Saturday, August 11 by Dr. Jeff Savage, president of the Ministers Council. The theme of the meeting was Great Grace, with scriptural emphasis on the relationship between the early church and the Risen Lord. The focus was on how those who serve in ministry receive life-sustaining nourishment.

Business of the Senate included:

• Celebration of the retirement  of Dr. Joe Kutter, outgoing Executive Director of the Ministsers Council;
• selection of the new Executive Director;
• and emphasis on the upcoming Capital Funds Campaign, with a continued focus on making the Together in Ministry theme an integral part of the Ministers Council identity.
