ABHMS’ E-Newsletter Receives Award for Second Consecutive Year

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 4/12/12)—For the second consecutive year, American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) has received an “All Star Award” from Constant Contact for the “News & Notes from American Baptist Home Mission” e-newsletter.

“Only 10 percent of our customers achieve All Star status every year,” says Constant Contact in a written statement. “That you’ve managed to do it for consecutive years puts you in an even more elite class, which makes your accomplishment even more noteworthy.”

E-mailed monthly to 3,500-plus American Baptists, the publication features links to ABHMS’ latest online offerings, such as video messages from Executive Director Aidsand F. Wright-Riggins III, the 2012 national youth gathering, feature stories and press releases. It also includes links to volunteer opportunities, The Penny Project and Judson Press.

According to an online tracking report, ABHMS’ e-newsletter consistently meets or exceeds industry standards regarding the number of recipients who view the newsletter and follow its links.

Constant Contact Inc. is a Waltham, Mass.-based online marketing organization. ABHMS uses Constant Contact’s e-newsletter platform.
